First erected as a log chapel in 1839, St. Anthony’s church was the site of the annual mass on Sunday September 11. The 80 plus who attended mass on a beautiful sunny afternoon enjoyed refreshments and snacks served by our council members. Brother Tim Nicholson, a charter member of the Mitchell council, was present. His late wife, Charlotte, has ancestors through the Dietrich family that belonged to St Anthony’s.

To members of Council 1431
I have been recently assigned as your Field Agent from the Knights of Columbus, representing your Council. I have held this position for over 7.5 years with the Knights and over 20 years in the industry. I am in the process of meeting with all the members of your Council as directed by Supreme Office. I will be contacting you in the near future to set up an appointment to discuss the Fraternal Benefits provided by the Knights of Columbus, just for being a member. This will also provide an opportunity for us to complete your Confidential Family Service Record through a Forecaster Program. This service is complimentary to all members of the Order.
Your courtesy as a Brother Knight in meeting with me is greatly appreciated.
Looking forward to meeting with you.
Sincerely and fraternally,
Jay Nelligan MDRT FIC
