Alienade

Alienade is an intense and engaging game developed by a team of 2 students over a two week period. It is a wave-based combat system loop, meaning the player must survive a series of rounds before being faced with a final round (boss level) to win the game. While Alienade was originally developed to have 15 rounds, plus a boss round, it could easily be made into an endless wave mode. Development of this game was based on a comprehensive understanding of how to create animated UI’s and implement Basic AI, both of which the developer, Christopher Matthews, feels passionately about perfecting.

Ultimaki

Ultimaki was the game I made during my Unreal Engine Project month. During this month I pushed my knowledge in Unreal engine and made A good interactive UI and Custom key mapping. For the artwork I did not hit on all cylinders I wanted an anime look on all levels, but I did not meet that. It has also taught me that save systems can be easier than I was making it at first. The AI move but I will have to come back and update my flying AI once I have the right knowledge to do it. in the end I was able to make a game that’s a gimmick of Mario since the first game I ever played was Super Mario Bros.

Planet Slip

Planet slip is a rogue-like procedural generated game developed by a team of 14 5 coders and 9 artists over a month period In Planet Slip, Players will take control of a space drifter after a losing battle against alien forces. The player would have just been ejected and in an escape pod. The title screen will show this escape pod drifting into space. In the player characters’ mind, the player’s goal is to go into the depths of the planet and find a way to communicate with other humans. At the start of the game, the player transitions from the title screen and crashes into a planet controlled by a hostile alien race, with nothing but a laser pistol in-hand. As the player progresses, they will take control of other alien weapons, tools, and abilities to single-handedly overcome their opposition.

Cyborne

Matteo and I worked on this together for the Video Game Engine 2 course. We use the Unreal Engine 4 to make a 2D platformer for being my first time on Unreal I am proud of what I was able to bring to this project.

Undertow

I worked on this game for my VGDE12D assignment I had to make a infinite runner so I came up with Undertow a underwater scroller that you have a time limit to collect all the points you can for the highest score and pick up the items that will extend your run.

Outside In

I worked on this for my VGDE23D assignment. This game was a lot of fun making it had three elements of games I love puzzles, parkour, and combat I this game helped me learn a lot in Unreal engine I learned how to make a equipment system and a live preview of your player I also was able to learn how to make animations using Unreal engine and Maximo.
