AI Home Exterminator
AHE is a third person shooter game created using Unreal Engine 4.16.3. The game was created in a group of
five. My group members were Jordan Moore, Zachary Robichaud,
Angela Mackney and Eugene Kahiya
AHE was a great learning experience when it came to using source control and how to use/not use it properly. While making the game there was
several times we would lose work due to the unreal engine crashing at random times. While building levels this would be problematic as I would
lose progress of the level.
Doing level design in unreal I learned that texturing in unreal was alot different that the past engines I had used for level design.
The main problem I ran into was that I could not texture just one side of a wall and texture the other side a different color/texture.
This problem caused me to have to rebuild all three of the levels I had designed to have each wall be made into two pieces.
Doing this allowed me to texture the walls in a way that made it look like a real house with each room having different colors.
