Hobbiest C/C++ programmer with a passion for video games and video game development.
Since age 12 I've been creating and programming my own projects; from games, to applications, to libraries, to tools. Starting my journey making games and animations with Actionscript for Flash MX 2004, I moved on to VB6 in 2007, to C# in 2009, and to C/C++ in 2011 which I primarily use to create many of my personal projects today.
Programming languages I am well versed with include: C/C++, C#, Java, and Visual Basic. I am also familiar with major game engines Unity, Unreal, and Source, as well as many scripting and other languages such as: Lua, Python, HTML, Javascript, OpenGL/GLSL and plenty more.
In 2010/2011, I worked at Big Blue Bubble in London, Ontario and worked on the mobile games Dark Incursion 3D — a side-scrolling platformer, and LEGO Ninjago: Scavenger Hunt — a fighting game using mobile tilting functionality. In 2011-2013, I was also a main developer for the open-source project The Powder Toy (Home), a highly versatile and customizable "falling-sand" simulation game, which I occasionally continue to aid in development.
