Welcome to my portfolio! Feel free to take a look around. I am experienced in Unity, Visual Studio, Unreal 4, Microsoft office, ANSI C, C++, C#, ActionScript 2, HTML, Image Editing, and more! More content will be added to this site as time goes on so be sure to check back for exciting new updates!
Technical support and customer relations for the world's best-selling sneakers, here I created an HTML/JavaScript based tool to simplify the role myself and others perform for the company. While working here, I also gained experience using many Apple tools and devices.
I have taught as a supply teacher on multiple occasions, teaching Math, Python, and Unity to 8-14 year old students.
As an intern for this augmented reality focused mobile game studio, I worked with a team of artists and programmers using Unity to create an iPhone game that will be added to this site once it launches.
My duties included art modification and implementation, menu and UI design and implementation, level design, testing, troubleshooting, and implementing new features.
Spooky Run is an infinite runner where you must avoid fires and collect unholy water to spit at them and extinguish them. You also have a super jump and can gain points and speed by collecting candy. This was my first time using Unity, and included object pooling, random platform generation from a preset list, character death and a title screen.
Lores of Lore is a simple RPG where you must find Special modules to activate portals into new areas while you explore the unknown as you collect weapons and fight off giant spiders, robots and more! A lot more went into the back end of this one. I added event, input and game managers to handle gameplay functionality and carry information between levels. You can also pick up and use different weapons and cycle through them, summon paper swans and shoot arrows that stick into walls. This was done in object oriented programming. Initially there were going to be randomly generated dungeons but that was scrapped due to time constraints
This was my first experience with UE4. it is a simple platformer where you must injure your character to enter a rage to break certain obstacles, but it also causes you to break through some floors and fall. Take too much damage and you lose a life. This game was demonstrated at Comicon 2019 in Kitchener and seemed to be a hit with the young adult players. Moving forward with this game, I would definitely like to expand the range of rage puzzles and creative solutions to progressing.
An OpenWorld RPG. It has an inventory system, multiple enemy types, bouncing fireball projectiles, multiple maps and areas, as well as a simple quest system.
Pierce is a 2-player fantasy/sci-fi card game that got high praise from testers and had a small local launch due to publishing cost but I hope to take this project further, expanding the scope of the lore to include everything from my tabletop game campaign setting. The main features that make this game stand out are the method of playing cards and the unique combat system.
SRWS is a board game where you are trying to knock other players off the board or lower their energy to 0 to win. The board is a dynamic 3D environment where you can raise, lower or smash pillars. It was a hit in playtesting and is in consideration for putting together a formal prototype to pitch to publishers.
Heirotaire for Android is a card flip game where you are trying to find the happy face cards hidden around the board. I want to modify this into more of a line clear puzzle game where you are building arrow chains to clear out the pieces
I have many games that I made while in high school using Adobe Flash CS4 and ActionScript 2. These were mostly quite simple and I had a free website hosting them before flash use diminished. The largest ones were simple RPGs and Action games.
Aside from Video Game Development, I love exploring in both nature and urban environments and photographing animals and plants found there. I also enjoy doing sketches and basic concept art and both playing and running tabletop games such as Dungeons&Dragons.
I enjoy science fiction and fantasy.
